The Blue Ridge Parkway – Peaks of Otter – presents two guided hikes, led by National Park Service Ranger Peter Hamel and Virginia Master Naturalist Martin Dileggi, in the Peaks of Otter area. Free and family friendly. Bird hike departs from the Peaks of Otter Lodge lobby at 8:00 a.m. for a short drive to a nearby trailhead. Two hours. No previous bird knowledge is required for this hike.
