Danielle Citron is the Lois K. Macht Research Professor & Professor of Law at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law where she writes and teaches about information privacy law, administrative law and civil rights.

She is the author of Hate Crimes in Cyberspace (Harvard University Press). Her articles and essays have appeared in the California Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Minnesota Law Review, Southern California Law Review, Washington University Law Review, Boston University Law Review, George Washington Law Review, and many others.

She is an Affiliate Fellow at the Yale Information Society Project and an Affiliate Scholar at the Stanford Center on Internet and Society. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative and is on the advisory boards of Electronic Privacy Information Center, Future of Privacy, Teach Privacy, and Without My Consent. She is a contributor at Forbes and Concurring Opinions.
