Epic is an electronic medical records vendor of approximately 8000 people in Madison, WI. We design, develop, test, install, and support our software in house. 54% of Americans have a medical record on our software. Every person at Epic has the potential to affect the quality of care millions of people receive on a daily basis. Our software is not just about capturing information, but improving clinical outcomes, reducing the per patient cost of healthcare, and driving operational efficiency.

If you are interested in having immediate responsibility and ownership of your work; Epic is the place to be. Five months after graduation you could project manage a multimillion dollar install, help one of the top 100 healthcare organizations in the country reduce their hospital readmissions, or work with the CDC to design a new protocol for Ebola. You could even be leading a development project connecting surgeons in the US with scientists stranded in the Artic or tourists in a US Embassy halfway across the world.

Our customers are the best healthcare organizations in the country including Cleveland Clinic, Yale, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and Kaiser Permanente. We also have a growing international presence. We currently have customers in Canada, England, Netherlands, Denmark, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, and South Africa.

You do not need to know anything about healthcare, software, or computers to get a job at Epic. We want intelligent, inquisitive, and proactive people. Epic provides extensive healthcare and IT training, mentoring, and continuing personal development courses to make you an effective HIT leader. If you want to learn more please attend the info session.
