First-Years OnlyBenefits for the Scholars• Kemper Scholars receive scholarship financial assistance for three years of$3,000-$10,000 a year depending on demonstrated need.• Scholars receive $6,900 as a summer work stipend for the post-Sophomoresummer when they live as a group in Chicago, participate in Kemper Scholars Program activities, and work as interns. The amount students receive directlymay be reduced by required upfront payments for housing.• After their junior year, Scholars receive a paid internship in the insuranceindustry, arranged by the Foundation, in one of a wide variety of fields in citiesaround the United States.• Scholars attend the annual Kemper Scholars Conference for three years.
