MetLife - Understanding Social Security

March 23, 2015

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Hillel House Multipurpose Room (101)

As part of the free financial and retirement education offered to W&L employees, MetLife will be on campus Monday March 23, 2015, from 12:00pm – 1:00 pm, for a session on Social Security.

Although an important part of your retirement, Social Security questions can be complex. In this session, you will learn:
How it can pay to delay your benefits
When you should begin taking benefits
The effect of earned income on benefits
How benefits are taxed
Some of the next steps you can take to create an income strategy

This is a brown bag lunch event in the Hillel Multipurpose Room—a credit for a beverage at Hillel will be provided.
