On Monday March 2 at VMI in Jackson Memorial Hall at 11:05AM the Montford Point Marines will share their story of creating a diverse military. The Montford Point Marines were the firs African-American men allowed to serve in the United States Marine Corps. They broke through the racial barriers to desegregate the Marine Corps and will be speaking about their experiences.
