Please join us as Professor Peng Xu presents a Lecture/ Demonstration in Wilson Hall, Room 2018, April 2, 8:30pm. Dr. Xu specializes in traditional Chinese drama as both literature and performing arts. An award-winning Chinese opera singer and performer trained by both professionals and connoisseurs since her teenage years, she tries to blend elements of theater arts into her classroom. She has delivered public lectures on Chinese opera’s past and present at University of Chicago, Tufts University, Virginia Military Institute and University of Tokyo.
