Summer Fellowship Workshop

We will be holding a series of fellowship workshops this summer. The intended audience for the June 9-July 1 meetings is rising juniors and seniors who will be applying for fellowships in the next application cycle (starting summer 2015) and for the July 8 meeting is rising sophomores and juniors. However, everyone is welcome to attend all sessions.

Tuesday, June 9: Networking/Making Contacts/Finding Project Sponsors
?Tuesday, June 16: CV/Resume Writing (Lauren Kozak, Career Development)
Tuesday, June 23: Personal Statements
Wednesday, July 1: Project Proposals
Wednesday, July 8: What Should You Be Doing Now to Make Yourself a More Competitive Fellowship Applicant?

?All meetings are 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Chavis Board Room (Commons 206). Students may buy lunch in the Marketplace (charged to the Office of the Dean of the College) and bring it to the Workshop.

?Before each meeting, please read the relevant material on the Sakai site. You are encouraged to write a draft of each type of document before the meeting. If you would like to have the group look at and critique your draft, please bring it to the meeting and, if possible, email it in advance to francem@wlu.edu so that we can make copies or pull it up on the screen.
