Organizations from the Law School, PILSA, Fed Soc, ACS, and NLG, are co-hosting a screening of Doctors of the Dark Side, February 12, 2013 in Stackhouse Theater from 5:00 - 7:30. The movie looks at the use of physicians and psychologists in detainee interrogation/torture at Guantanamo Bay. Following the movie there will be a panel discussion moderated by Dean Bond. The other panelists include Dr. Stephen Xenakis, a former US Army doctor who has spent the last several years of his retirement denouncing the use of psychologists and physicians in detainee interrogation, and Kristine Huskey, the Director of the Anti-Torture Program at Physicians for Human Rights. Also, we hope to have an additional legal perspective on the panel.
