The GLBT Equality Initiative will be hosting the Second Annual Virginia Colleges Equality Symposium. The purpose of the event is to create a strong network between GLBTQ students, student organizations, alumni, allies, and community members throughout the state of Virginia. It will be a day full of engaging discussions as well as meeting and interacting with like-minded individuals from all over the state.The symposium will feature several guest speakers. Previous topics include: career development, political involvement, identity development, religion, social issues, Greek life, and statewide GLBTQ efforts to ensure fairness and equality.
