Theater presents one-woman play "O'Keeffe" featuring Lucinda McDermott

November 11, 2013

7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Keller Theatre, Lenfest Hall

Susan Wager

Raised in Rockbridge County, playwright and actress Lucinda McDermott has returned home to launch a new tour of her moving one-woman play, "O’Keeffe!" Portraying the life and struggles of iconic American artist Georgia O’Keeffe, McDermott endeavors to answer the question most asked of art scholars and art lovers since her death: who is responsible for her success—herself or her husband, influential photographer Alfred Stieglitz? Lenfest Center patrons will have the opportunity to make their own judgments on Monday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Keller Theatre. O’Keeffe! is presented by the W&L Department of Theater and Dance. Order your tickets online today at lenfest.wlu.edu or call the Lenfest box office at 458-8000 for more information. There will be a talk-back directly following the performance.

Tickets are required.
