Jim Kaster, W&L’s Director of Financial Aid, will offer an overview of financial aid basics, including types of financial aid (grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study). He will explain needs-based versus merit-based aid as well as the different kinds of loans. Common misconceptions and useful tips will be discussed.
