Inaugurating the Pamela Simpson Fund Lecture in the History of Art, Professor David Getsy will present “Approximate invisibility: Dan Flavin’s Dedications,” focusing on the industrial light artworks of contemporary artist Dan Flavin.

Lecture is free and open to the public.

Getsy is the Goldabelle McComb Finn Distinguished Professor of Art History and Chair of the Department of Art History, Theory and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
